Use of Open Source software at PCextreme
PCextreme makes use of Open Source software and Open standards wherever possible in the provision of its services to ensure greater flexibility and less dependence on software suppliers.
Independence
Because PCextreme uses Open Source, we are not bound to a single software supplier holding the rights of ownership of the source code. This makes us independent and flexible.
Flexibility
Since the source code is open, PCextreme can adapt it to suit the preferences of its customers. Also, any faults can be detected and resolved more easily.
