If you move an existing domain name to PCextreme you will be able to take advantage of all the facilities we offer in that area, such as being able to manage your domain’s DNS records by yourself and linking your domain names to our hosting packages.

How do I transfer a domain name?

Request an EPP code

For a start, we recommend informing your current provider of the upcoming transfer. They will then be able to release your domain name so that you are able to register it with us. You will also need to request an ‘EPP code’ for the majority of the domains. You will need this ‘PIN’ code to finalise your domain transfer.

Ordering a domain name

Once you have done this, you can order the relevant domain name via our website. You should, however, check the availability of the domain name so you can order it as a new domain to be transferred.

Initializing the transfer

After you have placed your order, you can activate the domain name you wish to transfer through our control panel. During the activation phase you will be asked for your EPP code. Once this has been correctly filled in your domain will be transferred to PCextreme.
