Recently, the founders of PCextreme, Lennert, Thomas and Wido, transferred the company to Total Webhosting Solutions, a new overarching organization with the goal of reinforcing our position within the European market with other successful (cloud) hosting companies.
One of the most important aspects of this acquisition is that PCextreme will keep both its identity and autonomy, and that the founders will also stay involved within the group. Additionally, you will still get to speak with the same people when you encounter an issue and we're still located in our beautiful office in Vlissingen :-)
We see this acquisition as an opportunity to catapult PCextreme to the next level, which is also the main reason that lies behind this step. Since we're no longer at it alone it will also be easier for us to scale throughout Europe. Things we'd like to work towards are more European zones for our cloud services, or if we really go for it: an ultra low latency cloud spread amongst every European capitol city. All would be pretty nice to have, although we may be getting a bit ahead of ourselves at this point.
For now we'll just continue with what we're already working on: building new cloud services and squashing the last bugs in our new control panel, so we can release a multitude of awesome services in the near future.
